A 3D printer is a device that creates three-dimensional objects by adding layers of material based on information from a digital file.

• Makerspace computers have the necessary software installed to prepare your design. If you would prefer to use your own device, you can find the software here.
• Filament can be purchased at the 2nd Floor Desk for $0.10/gram.
• You are welcome to bring in your own PLA filament. 1 kg spools work best with our AMS. Other filament types must be approved by staff.
• Micro SD Drive needed to transfer files to the 3D printer. You are welcome to bring your own, or it can be purchased at the desk for $3.
