As the United States marks 250 years since 1776, Logan Library and our community partners are proud to present the America 250 Lecture Series, inviting our community to explore the many ways the American experiment has taken shape, politically, socially, and culturally.
June 20, 2026, Lecture: This lecture will discuss the significance of the Dominguez-Escalante expedition for the future white exploration and settlement of Utah.
Rebecca Andersen is a Senior Lecturer in History at Utah State University. She researches Utah and Latter-day Saint History and is currently working on a book project on Mormon cultural landscapes.
